Abyssal Spire
The Wave Survival event: rules, how to enter, and the monthly rankings.
What Abyssal Spire is
A party (or solo) survival event: up to 5 players enter a dedicated arena and fight off 50 escalating waves of monsters in a row. Each player's progress is tracked individually - if one member falls early and another reaches wave 50, that is exactly what shows up on their own records, not a shared party result.
Rules
- Minimum character level: 250.
- Party size: 1 to 5 - solo entry is allowed, only the party leader can start the run for a full party.
- Entries per day: 2, per character, whether solo or in a party.
- Your backpack (not your equipped gear) is cleared on entry and handed back exactly as it was when you leave.
- Anything you loot during the run stays in your main inventory and leaves with you - if your bag is full, the item drops at your feet instead of being lost.
- There is a short preparation pause between waves.
- The arena is shared by the whole server - if it is occupied, the next party waits its turn.
Monsters and rewards
Waves grow tougher through 12 zones' worth of monsters. Every kill on a normal wave has a chance to drop Large Healing or Mana Potions to keep you going. Waves 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 each end with a named Golden monster that always drops a guaranteed event reward - the further you push, the better it gets.
How to enter
- Find the Stone Statue in Arkania, near coordinates (236, 82), and interact with it - that is the only way in.
Rankings and rewards
This site tracks two boards under the Abyssal Spire tab: the current month's best wave per character, and the all-time record holders. Rewards for the top finishers are handed out once a month, not every week - check the Abyssal Spire rankings page for where you currently stand.
