Castle Siege
Registering your guild, the castle treasury, and the prize for winning.
What Castle Siege is
Once a week, guilds fight over the castle for control of its taxes and hunting zone. Registration for the next siege now happens on the website instead of in game.
Registering your guild
- Only the guild master can register, from their own account.
- Registration opens automatically the moment a new siege cycle starts on the server, and stays open for a fixed window afterward - check the Castle Siege page in the main menu for the exact countdown.
- Cost: a registration fee in Zen, charged from the guild master's website bank, not the in-game warehouse.
- The current castle owner cannot register to attack its own castle.
The castle treasury
While a guild holds the castle, a treasury quietly builds up alongside it:
- A cut of every website donation tops up the treasury in Epic Coins - this does not reduce what the buyer receives, it is added on top.
- A share of the Market's trade tax feeds the same treasury, in whichever currency the trade was made: Zen, Epic Coins, or jewels.
- The registration fee itself is added to the castle's own Zen funds.
Winning the siege
When a new guild takes the castle, the treasury pays out:
- All the accumulated Epic Coins and jewels go to the winning guild's master, in full - this is the prize for winning.
- Zen stays with the castle. It is not paid out; the new owner spends it in game the same way the old owner did.
- The Epic Coins side of the treasury restarts for the new reign, and building it back up starts again from scratch.
Every change of hands is recorded - see the Siege History table on the Castle Siege page for who held the castle and what they won.
